About Fahima Hossain

Long before I picked up a stylus, I was drawing in the margins of my school notebooks. That early habit became a real pursuit when I enrolled in the Fine Arts program at Khulna University, choosing Drawing and Painting as my discipline. What started as a childhood love for sketching grew, over four intensive years, into a proper visual language — one built on observation, composition, and countless hours at the easel.

Khulna University shaped me as much outside the classroom as within it. Between coursework, workshops, and studio critiques, I built a foundation in traditional art while getting my first real exposure to digital tools — a combination that would come to define my style. My work was recognized twice with the department's Class Best award, in 2019 and again in 2023, for the 5th and 6th Annual Exhibitions (the latter delayed by the pandemic, but well worth the wait). I graduated in 2023 with a CGPA of 3.67/4.00.

Since graduating, I've focused almost entirely on digital illustration, deepening my skills in Procreate, Adobe Illustrator, and Affinity while keeping the fundamentals I learned on canvas close at hand. Today I work with Seven Frames Studio, a Bangladeshi creative studio, illustrating children's books and designing characters, props, and scenes for animation and 2D explainer videos. Whether I'm sketching on my iPad or refining vector linework, my goal is always the same: to give every story a visual world worth stepping into.
